Your calendar, your call
Why Gigometry asks for calendar access
Connecting a calendar is optional. If you do, Gigometry uses it for two things only:
- Show your plans next to your band’s, so you see conflicts before you say yes to a gig.
- Tell bandmates which days you’re busy, if you choose to share that. They see “busy”, never what the event is.
We only ever read. Gigometry never adds, changes or deletes anything in your calendar, and disconnecting deletes what we imported.

What to look for in a band management app
Whether or not you pick Gigometry, our buyer’s guide lists what matters to gigging bands: availability, setlists that work on stage, sub-friendly sharing, and what happens to your data.
- Can every member see the same schedule, without a login dance?
- Does it know when people are busy before you book?
- Can a sub see one gig without seeing everything?
- Can you use the setlist on stage, in the dark?
Questions
What is Gigometry?
Gigometry is a band management app for working musicians. It keeps your band’s songs, setlists, gigs, practices, availability and messages in one place, on your phone or computer.
Who is it for?
Cover and original bands, wedding and corporate acts, church and worship teams, and freelance players who sub in several bands. Band leaders run the schedule; members see what they’re playing and when.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Gigometry runs in your browser at app.gigometry.com. On a phone you can add it to your home screen, and it opens full-screen and can send notifications like an app.
Why does Gigometry ask for access to my calendar?
Only if you choose to connect one. Gigometry reads your calendar so it can show your plans next to your band’s and tell bandmates which days you’re busy. It never shows them what the event is and never changes your calendar. Read exactly what we access.
Can I be in more than one band?
Yes. Everything you play across every band shows in one calendar and one My Schedule list, and the app warns you when two bookings clash.
Do I need a band to use it?
No. You can keep a profile, list your gear, post in the Green Room, message people and get found by bands looking for players without joining one.
Who can see my phone number and email?
Your bandmates, unless you choose otherwise. In Settings → Privacy you pick Only me, Bandmates, My circle or Everyone, separately for each, and whether people can find you by typing them in. They’re never shown on your public page.
Is my information sold or used for ads?
No. We don’t sell your information, don’t show ads, and don’t use tracking or advertising cookies. See the Privacy Policy.
